To celebrate your graduation, your friends decide to visit the abandoned middle school you all went to, that had been known as  the place to hold theater plays in the area.  All is going well, snapping pictures and taking selfies, rifling through decaying books and checking out the old lockers. It’s not until you try to leave and find the door won’t open.

The door won’t open?

Well fuck.

Now stuck in this blast from the past, you have to puzzles and figure out what’s keeping you trapped in this building. Even if it means digging up past memories and thinking about people you’d rather forget.

This game was made for the Spooktober Game Jam.

Hey! Really interesting story and great use of the engine — I loved the puzzles and the branching options!

I managed to reach two different endings, though I’m sure there are more since I only played for about half an hour. The only reason I’m not jumping right back in is because I’m trying to get through more games that still need ratings, but I’ll definitely come back to it later.

The story is genuinely intriguing with excellent pacing, and I’m super curious to see where it goes. Also, huge props for how much art you managed to create — that’s seriously impressive!

Really great work overall! 👏

My only small piece of feedback is that, although the music and SFX were great, there’s an ambience sound near the beginning that doesn’t loop smoothly — it gets a bit distracting when it cuts off.

Other than that, I loved everything! 💖
